A Message from Dr. Shariq Chudhri: Join Me in Supporting the Jingle Bell Run
Let’s Make a Difference Together!
Dear friends, family, colleagues, and patients,
I hope this message finds you well.
As many of you know, rheumatology is more than my profession—it’s a calling that has shaped my life for years. Every day I witness the courage, resilience, and determination of people living with arthritis and autoimmune disease. Their stories, their challenges, and their victories are what inspire me both in and out of the clinic.
That’s why I’m excited to share that I’ll be participating as a Medical Honoree in this year’s Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run, and I’m inviting you to join me and support our team: https://events.arthritis.org/participants/drchudhri
Arthritis is the number one cause of disability in the United States, affecting more than 60 million adults and countless children. It impacts mobility, independence, confidence, and quality of life. But thanks to the Arthritis Foundation, patients and families have access to vital resources, advocacy, education, and research that truly move the needle toward better treatments – and one day, cures.
This cause is incredibly meaningful to me. From my early career on the clinical faculty at the University of Arizona—leading programs in scleroderma care and musculoskeletal ultrasound, and mentoring future physicians – to my return home to the Dallas–Fort Worth community, I have seen firsthand how important it is for patients to feel supported, understood, and empowered.
The Jingle Bell Run brings us together not just for a fun, festive morning, but to make a tangible difference in the lives of millions. Every donation, every team member, and every step taken helps fuel the Arthritis Foundation’s mission and strengthens the community we serve.
I would be truly grateful if you would consider:
- Joining my team
- Donating to support our mission
- Sharing the link with others who may want to participate
Your support—in any form—means more than you know.
Thank you for standing with me, and with all those living with arthritis. I hope to see many of you at the run on December 20th, jingling, celebrating, and making a powerful impact together.
With gratitude,
Shariq Chudhri, MD
